Remote work (telework) involves performing job responsibilities from a location outside the traditional office setting, often from home. Federal agencies sometimes offer this option to employees for flexibility, cost savings, and work-life balance. Critics claim in-person work fosters better collaboration and oversight, while supporters argue that modern technology enables equal or greater productivity off-site. Proponents argue that having federal employees on-site improves communication, team cohesion, and accountability, ensuring that government services run smoothly. Opponents argue that remote work saves costs, reduces commuting time, and can maintain or even enhance productivity through flexible arrangements and modern communication tools.

Yes, it is no longer the covid pandemic, we are returning back to a state of normality, federal employees can and should return back to work in-person. Of course.

I feel like people should be able to choose although there are some jobs that do require the person to be in office but unless they are suffering from work performance or mental/physical health I don't think it's an issue to be in office or online based on what the person needs.

Generally yes but depends on work case. If someone is in a public facing role, being accessible at a local office is necessary for equity purpouses

It depends on their physical condition. After certain health issues/disabilities/birth then they shouldn't have to. If they are capable of it, they need to work in the office.

depending on the level of federal job. If the job revolves around security and national policy then yes.

Both. If you are a federal worker, you should work at the government facilities. Or, if you have people work from home, do it in-full and shut down real government facilities so we can use them for housing.
