Remote work (telework) involves performing job responsibilities from a location outside the traditional office setting, often from home. Federal agencies sometimes offer this option to employees for flexibility, cost savings, and work-life balance. Critics claim in-person work fosters better collaboration and oversight, while supporters argue that modern technology enables equal or greater productivity off-site. Proponents argue that having federal employees on-site improves communication, team cohesion, and accountability, ensuring that government services run smoothly. Opponents argue that remote work saves costs, reduces commuting time, and can maintain or even enhance productivity through flexible arrangements and modern communication tools.

Yes, it is no longer the covid pandemic, we are returning back to a state of normality, federal employees can and should return back to work in-person. Of course.

No, and remote work should be encouraged as it allows employees to spend more time with their families and boosts productivity

When it comes to important events, such a as elections, they should work in office. But besides that, they can work at home

depending on the level of federal job. If the job revolves around security and national policy then yes.

Both. If you are a federal worker, you should work at the government facilities. Or, if you have people work from home, do it in-full and shut down real government facilities so we can use them for housing.

We should keep a balance between the two and make shifts for them so no one has to always work remotely or at an office

I don't think it should be mandatory for all employees, but I believe it should be mandatory for the top 90% of workers.

It depends on what specific federal work they do, and if they're actually working at home. I obviously wouldn't want FBI agents working from home, but if their job is just a desk job, I wouldn't care as long as they still do their work
