Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Abortion
5>5 Personal answerPro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child |
Social › Gay Marriage
5>5 Personal answerYes, but allow churches the right to refuse same-sex ceremonies |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
5>5 Personal answerYou know what we should totally do? Let's say you take the class, clear a background check, then go to a gun dealer. The gun dealer can check your background check again, then help you choose the right gun for you. Here's the clincher: You have guns that will only work for you. Like using your fingerprint. (This is my husband's idea and I LOVE it! They have safes that work this way, why not find a way to apply it to firearms?!). Anyways, if someone steals your gun, they cannot use it because their fingerprints are different. Then it's just a glorified paper weight. |
Crime › Police Body Cameras
5>5 Personal answerYes, this will protect the safety and rights of police officers and citizens |
Healthcare › Drug Price Regulation
5>5 Personal answerNo idea. There needs to be a compromise somewhere. Pharmaceuticals shouldn't be allowed to charge so much for medicine! Treatments should not cost nearly as much as they do. Did you know it costs on average $25,000 - $30,000 just to find out if you're genetically predisposed for breast cancer? And that's WITH insurance. My sister had to pay nearly $50,000! Talk about bleeding us dry! Oh, and by the way, she died. Because of two mistakes the doctor made. There definitely need to be changes made, but I don't know what or where to begin. |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
5>5 Personal answerNo, banning immigrants based on their religion is unconstitutional |
Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
5>5 Personal answerNot sure how I feel about it all. |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
5>5 Personal answerInflation is ridiculous! I don't know where the problem is originating from, but things definitely need an overhaul. One adult should be able to afford a house, two vehicles, their family, and live comfortably on minimum wage. Our EMT's don't make a whole lot, just above minimum wage, and they save lives! That doesn't make any sense! |
the Environment › Climate Change
5>5 Personal answerI'm all for efficient energy that doesn't leave a big print on our planet. I feel this should be further researched with incentives for alternate energy production. I feel we should keep our oil in our own country instead of selling it to others and then having to buy from other countries. That just doesn't make any sense and is a waste of precious time, energy, and money. |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
5>5 Personal answerMeh. If people want to do drugs, there's no stopping them. I don't know if legalizing them would make people want them even less or more. Maybe more education on drugs, what to avoid (like oxycotin shouldn't be used in hospitals and parents should be educated on such drugs). |
Education › Student Loans
5>5 Personal answerWe're so not doing this right. Look at Sweden and take notes. |
Healthcare › Marijuana
5>5 Personal answerNo |
Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
5>5 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Immigration Healthcare
5>5 Personal answerIf they're here illegally, I don't feel they should get the same rights and entitlements that those who worked hard to be here legally have. No one should have to pay through the nose, nor be denied treatment, though. |
Elections › Campaign Finance
5>5 Personal answerLet people donate what they want. |
Elections › Voter Fraud
5>5 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Government Spending
5>5 Personal answerEveryone should be taxed the same. The wealthy should get NO LOOP HOLES (Like not paying federal taxes after filing for bankruptcy). Public Spending: we need to look at how other countries are doing this! People in Canada and Europe don't have to pay just to have a baby. Part of their taxes pay for hospitals and doctors so they don't have huge bills like we do here in the US. Also, in Sweden, education is FREE! They're the top country with education too. We need to do some overhauls here. |
Crime › Solitary Confinement for Juveniles
5>5 Personal answerYes, and we should create more social programs to help prevent and rehabilitate criminals |
Domestic Policy › Affirmative Action
5>5 Personal answerRegardless, we should create more social programs to address poverty |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
5>5 Personal answerYes |
Education › Common Core
5>5 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › In-State Tuition
5>5 Personal answerI'm not sure what the Christ-like answer is here. There are those who worked hard to get here legally. Those who just hoped on over should not have the same rights as those who are here legally. Hmm. Maybe they should pay the same rate as out-of-state students. I don't know. |
the Environment › Oil Drilling
5>5 Personal answerWe need to keep the oil that is drilled in the US IN THE US and stop selling it to others outside! Offshore drilling can be fatal to too much of our ocean life, devastating marine biology and effecting our oceans over time. |
Elections › Candidate Transparency
5>5 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Fracking
5>5 Personal answerNo, more research is needed to measure the long term effects of fracking |
Healthcare › Obamacare
5>5 Personal answerThis is too conveluted. We should take a look at how other countries are doing with their health care systems and see what works. In one part of Europe doctors get paid less if their patients come more frequently; i.e. they're treating the symptom instead of the problem. The less often patients have to return, the more the doctor gets paid (government stepped in and regulates the taxes the people pay for medical. You don't pay medical taxes then have to pay the hospital, doctors, and pharmacists because that's all included in your medical taxes). Honestly, people all over the world are laughing at us. They can't understand why the people here don't go broke. |
Science › Nuclear Energy
5>5 Personal answerWe should focus on Zero Point Energy. Energy is all around us and should be free. Tesla was on the right track until someone derailed him. Let's pick up where he left off and figure this out! Look at science: our atmosphere is thinning and solar flares are becoming increasingly dangerous. Doing things that thin out out outer atmosphere isn't very smart. Let's work together on solving our issues without killing our world and everything on it. |
Foreign Policy › Torture
5>5 Personal answerAnd what if those suspected terrorists weren't terrorists at all? This is a dangerous line. |
Science › GMO Labels
5>5 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
5>5 Personal answerThat's a tough one. Maybe eventually... ? I'd hate to take away basic rights. That's a hard one. |
Foreign Policy › Terrorism
5>5 Personal answerI'm not sure. Perhaps they should suffer accordingly to their own laws and beliefs. I couldn't say. |
