“Yes, but spending cuts need to be made correctly. Reducing paperwork is the first step, cutting corporate paperwork is the next. We should also spend a little bit more to encourage business growth in America. We do need to increase taxes but only to what they should be, that is tax revenue from stocks properly. (And make foreign stock investment more expensive than domestic). We need to find ways not to nationalize american companies but to make them more loyal to America. Last we need to change how we spend the money we do. For instance spend as much on military but make those expenditures more appropriate to the expected benefit. We pay five times as much for a tank that is basically the same tank another government buys for cheap.”
