"Sources at The Hague said that it is impossible that the chief prosecutor would have decided on such a dramatic step, in a war that is still ongoing, with very little evidence, if he had not at least had a "green light" from the Americans. If this is true, this is another and unprecedented low in relations between Israel and the US, at a very sensitive time, on the eve of the ground entry to Rafah.
Relays that have recently arrived in Jerusalem indicate that the chance of issuing arrest warrants has increased dramatically, possibly as soon as next month. Last week, an urgent discussion on the issue was held in the Prime Minister's Office, in which serious concerns were raised about allowing the issuance of arrest warrants against senior Israeli security and political leaders, including against Netanyahu himself."

Perhaps Israelis should worry about the accusations against senior Israeli officials and whether it's true or not.
Because if they're true, the US shouldn't be trying to force the justices to do anything one way or another.
No worries. We know the accusations are baseless. The more worrying thing is that seemingly educated & intelligent people are parroting talking points drafted in Tehran, Qatar & Hamas, disseminated through such sham organizations as SJP, JVP & INN

Couldn't this be a ruse to kick Netanyahu out so he alone can be blamed Israel's policy failures over last decades? Schumer's speech & Bernie's constant namedropping of him implies they want him to be scapegoat so after this episode of violence the status quo can be returned to
Does no one remember where this began? Why is the world piling on Israel? Where is the condemnation for the executions in Iran? When will the hostages be mentioned again? They must have to pay lip service at least once a week surely? What is the world doing?
The idea that the Biden Administration is handing over billions and won't even say Israel's committed war crimes but is secretly greenlighting prosecutions in a court whose jurisdiction we don't even recognize is so ridiculous.
As if the U.S. controls the world courts. Please
