If I'm reading this right, they had a factor adjusting blacks as having better kidney function than others because a major study found higher creatine levels due to more "muscle mass" and assumed it was a population wide statistic.

here was a big move eight or nine years ago when they removed the requirement that people even sign up for the transplant or get on the waiting list in the first place because racist.

I went from one year out to indefinite. Ended up just finding a live donor.
