US should mind its own business

The British were a massive government in the first place, they were the problem a large portion of the time. From the Sepoy Rebellions to the Opium Wars, the British were nearly ALWAYS the bad guys. The collapse of that empire was merely another nail in the coffin of Africa’s growth, but what the British were doing is precisely what we do now: exploit without consent, give a portion back, create bigger issues fighting their resistance, leave, watch the chaos destroy them. Africa was largely Christian long before the British colonized them, they just converted far more of them with Holy Wars and forced occupation. They lack education because Europe exploited it and hid basic literature from a large chunk of them, then promised different nations the same land and created a dumpster fire of foreign conflicts, afterwards blaming the very people they ravaged. Africa was RICH for a long time, perhaps the richest man in history, Mansa Musa, was what helped draw Europeans who were previously poor to colonizing or making trade-post empires with Africa.
