How does the idea of a government-funded safety net during financial crises make you feel about your future?

I feel secure in my future with the help of the government, but I feel like under certain economic despairs, the government's safety net may, one day, not protect me against economic downturns; therefore, I am unsure about my future and must plan ahead.

I think it makes me feel better, as it helps prevent another Great Depression.
