How would the absence of military advertisements influence the media we consume and our perceptions of service?

So I think the absence of military advertisements would definitely change how we view military service. HOWEVER I don't necessarily think this is a good thing, we already don't have enough kids with the physical aptitude to join the military we need to be encouraging people to join the military but still respect the opinions of those who don't want to.
