Which political ideology do you most identify with?
What personal experiences have led you to value (or question) the solidarity within your community?
I think the only personal experience I've ever had is boycotting certain brands who were with Israel and obviously having to take off Beyonce off of my playlists because I don't want to support a genocide as best as I can. However, the there are definitely other factors in what makes me question how genuine our government is and biased our law making system is in the presence of Israel's influence of wanting to take land away from Palestinians. The other factors being how forms of protest for the genocide is very silencing with news outlets and social media, using distractions like the Superbowl in the US national event or the Thanksgiving parade to take eyes off of Gaza, and even going so far as to firing people from their jobs or murdering Palestinians within our own country as the genocide continues. Recently, Aaron Bushnell self immolated in front of the Israel embassy in his US air force uniform as the desperate act of protest to get the genocide to stop, and he wasn't the only one to do this, but because it was such an impact to witness since he was screaming Free Palestine before he died and the Israel guards moving to point a gun at him as he was on fire and burning to death, the silence of the media and that kind of media was brushed aside from the US public to make it not seem as bad. The repeated acts of silencing and dismissals makes me lose faith in what our law makers are deciding for us and if we can fully put our trust and loyalty into those in power led on by political powers, beliefs, and money.
