as a latino-italian, of my community, we love to celebrate big moments of out lives and throw big parties and get-togethers for everyone to hang-out, eat and get to know one another, every summer. And, they create great memories to hold on too.
From my perspective, Latinos like to celebrate that way because that's how they accustomed us to it and to not forget our roots, being Latino makes us not ashamed of our roots.
