Could a society function without competition, and how would that affect your motivation in school or work?

I think a society could function without competition, but that may not be what is best for the people... a balance between competition and putting the people first is important. Everything in moderation.

a society can function without competition, that would affect my views i would have.

A society needs competition and this wouldn't effect nothing in my school work.
