All it college is way for those colleges and universities to make as much money as possible at the student's expense. When a university can attempt to fire a tenured professor when they had a deal with a publisher, and she told us where to get it cheaper... that's a problem. when a college can't guarantee you a chance at a job when you're spending 120,000 in tuition for a degree. when businesses won't even talk to you unless you have a piece of paper you paid for but you have experience instead - the whole system is broke... and at our expense too. The government paying for tuition wouldn't necessarily fix anything. College is too expensive and too much of an business and has gotten away from education.
