Should the government raise the federal minimum wage?
No, most minimum wage jobs are meant to develop experience, not support a family
It is minimum wage because it's meant for high schoolers, college students, and other young individuals to make money to afford basic items they WANT not NEED.

That is not even historically OR currently true. Upon its conception, minimum wage was explicitly designed to be a livable wage for all workers, regardless of job, and even today the majority of minimum wage workers are not highschoolers. Heck, just go to your local McDonald's or Walmart and at least half the employees there are grown *** adults just trying to get by. That has never been a good argument, much less a correct one.
