Should critical race theory be taught in K-12 education?
Yes, and also add Intersectionality and the 1619 Project to the curriculum
If our children are taught how to think, as opposed to what to think, they can better orient themselves in the world and be less susceptible to corrosive arguments. The 1619 Project and the philosophy of intersectionality that makes up CRT is a single viewpoint that makes an objective claim about how the world is. It defines the American experiment as a system of oppression that subjugates anyone who is not white. This is hugely problematic because these philosophies are prescribing a solution to a problem that does not exist. We would be setting our children ( particularly black children) up to fail.
