Yes this is true,I have heard so many stories when people use different kinds of tactics to enter usa illegaly.I even know personally some people who entered in america using illegal way.

I agree with building the wall because it will help our economy help keep out drugs and it’s not fair to the citizens that legally got across the boarder.

I think there needs to be a border wall to not only protect our country and its citizens and value of human life but also the country's economy and giving money to those who aren't legally citizens is a waste.

This isn't a position, this is a fact. I disagree with this as evidence to justify the border wall however.
While the border wall has seen success in lowering illegal immigration, it's a very poor economic decision seeing as it was a significant price to build, and our economy will continue to suffer due to the lower immigration rates. Seeing as we currently have a worker shortage that is only expected to get worse as the U.S citizens are projected to have less children in the future, immigration is currently the best way to keep the American population up, thereby solving the worke…  Read morer shortage issue. Investing more into making immigration a much simpler process will greatly decrease illegal immigration into the U.S and greatly increase legal immigration, which will have positive long-term effects on the economy. I hypothesize that the main cause of illegal immigration in the U.S is simply due to the difficulty of the immigration process in its current form.

I think every human being has the right to go to any country regardless of their nationality, race etc whether they're from that country or not.

While this may be true, many immigrants choose to leave their country as an attempt to flee whatever harsh conditions are occurring or simply to aquire a better life in America as many wish to achieve the "American Dream".

The people fleeing their country come to the Unites states are not all to sell drugs and do illegal things but for their families. There are more white men convicted of serious crimes than a Hispanic man. The Hispanic community work harder than the white community. They take the jobs the white people do not want to take and deal with. They offer diversity, hard work, and more. The minorities shape this country and transform it into something better.

This is an obvious statement trying to get people to believe in fascism; and ignoring what America did to countries nearby us, especially in South America. This "issue" is making an otherwise not an issue as these are people trying to find a new life for themselves and instead of trying to kill them - we should help them find their new life in America

They see immigrants as a threat put with proper background checks and if the have never been deported or had any problems with the law they should be let it. Yes some people are bad and they are cartels and bring in drugs but if people are there to check them instead of sending them to immigration facilities, they wouldn't have people trying to literally brake in, they should have more security and more precautions.

Immigrants deserve sanctuary, and even if they didn't; spending billions of dollars on wall is not going to do anything. Most people immigrate by plane.

Our border operates on a rotational system ideally, where immigrants are free to enter and work, then return home to their country after they have concluded a season of working. This stimulates the economy, and doesn’t usually lead to many long term immigrants. If we were to build a wall and make it more difficult to get in to the country, many immigrants may stay illegally for fear that if they leave they won’t be able to return. For this reason the wall will do little to stop illegal immigration.

many illegals work hard when they come to the U.S. They work as hard or even harder than citizens. They take the jobs that most people don't want and they work so hard even if they are in pain or hurting. So no wall should be made since they help the economy.

I don't think that the government should build a wall but they should have more security around the entire border not just in specific spots.

Everyone deserves a chance to make a better life for themselves and they might find that opportunity outside of their country. We should let them in and provide citizenship and healthcare

The Border Wall is not an effective method for prevent illegal entries. This method would do the opposite in which there would be more retaliation and more people wanting to come in illegally.

People are people and humans are humans. The fact that we are blocking other human beings from getting into our country is insane, when they either want to visit people they care about, or get away from a bad situation.

The Border Patrol was heavily supported and funded during the Trump administration, they are an ardent group of mostly anti-immigration people. If there was anyone who would do the job of stopping illegal immigrants its these people which means that not a lot of them got through.

Yes, there have proven to be more illegal immigrants coming to the U.S., but how do we know the ones that made it through are not terrorists and are smuggling drugs into the U.S.?

We should be promoting better governments in Mexico and offer better services for illegal immigrants.

Not all of them are criminals looking to "steal jobs" or attack our country, some if not most are just looking for a better life.

A wall will not lower these numbers or deter people from coming to the border. Social aid to better conditions in their home countries along with more legal immigration avenues are the answer to "illegal" immigration

We should not build a wall because Mexican Food is really good. If we were to build a wall, there would be a lack of authentic Mexican Dishes in the United States.

In my opinion the concept of the border is hypocritical and imprudent, because for one we as humans dont own nor did we create the earth so its not fair to limit where others can go. Along with that to begin with America did not belong to us, it belonged to Indonesian peoples, Therefore the idea of having a border to "stop" immigration is incredibly hypocritical.

If these places had a better environment for living, like giving money to the Mexican government for a better lifestyle we wouldn’t need to build a wall.

I would see how these immigrants are contributing to society in the U.S. and how long they have been here and see if help can be provided if needed and so fair treatment can be given to them and get them legally here as soon as possible.

If we're being technical white americans went to africa to steal black people from their own land and brought them here illegally. Are we really going to start complaing out "immigrants" now?

must respect the inherent human rights of these people, in principle, it is far worse to neglect these people, and in practice, helping these people leads to more humanitarian benefits, international relations benefits, and the influx of people into the country is mutually beneficial for all parties

America does not have a good track record when it comes to enforcing wars on ideals or unanimated objects especially

I think the border is ineffective and the concept of it is incredibly hypocritical. It is not right to force illegal immigrants out of the country and force them over the border, when "Americans" did not own this land to begin with.

Many of these people may be trying to escape poverty or build a new life for their family or seek new possibilities altogether and I feel as if the U.S should be that place to seek refuge and feel safe.
