I say minimum wage should be higher when prices of products or things start to raise because it will increase poverty if the minimum wage is low.

Yes i agree, prices on everything now are higher than ever, while the minimum wage stays the same. This is drowning young adults and others who are just trying to survive.

The federal minimum wage needs to rise because of inflation over time and the extreme rise of cost for every day needs . These costs have risen and make it more difficult for people to be able to live and support a family.

People argue that raising the minimum wage would likely result in wages and salaries increasing across the board, thereby substantially increasing operating expenses for companies that would then increase the prices of products and services to cover their increased labor costs.

If the minimum wage increases, it will change the economy, making things more expensive and inflation worse.

Raising the minimum wage only serves to drive inflation even higher. Minimum wage jobs are meant to be for high schoolers getting their first job, for gas money and such. Not for someone to be able to support a family on a minimum wage job.

When you increase minimum wage two things are going to happen. First being the everyday needs will spike in price and non-minimal wage jobs pay will not in and the cost for living is increased, And secondly big corporations will stop hiring humans and start replacing more humans with technology.

I agree, as the minimum wage is indispensable to make jobs more pleasant, especially for young people who are often exploited, consequently an increase, even a small one, in the minimum wage could eliminate this exploitation and push more young people to work and that the well-being of the population would also increase

If we increase the minimum wage there are more bad than good. Sure a lot of people would be inclined to work, but the problem is everything will inflate and the cost of everything will double since everything is increasing. The higher the minimum wage, the higher everything will cost.

Raising the wage will only cause prices to rise and more people to be laid off. It will just end up causing more problems.
