You must not be aware of the Supreme Court ruling that police agencies are not obligated to provide protection of citizens. They still get paid with our taxes & they have qualified immunity if they kill us so yeah, let's give em tanks & rocket launchers & whatever else. If it's unconstitutional to use the military against the people, they'll just militarize the police & let them do it.
