The pipeline, like all things, is subject to human error and can malfunction or spring a leak. Which will be detrimental to the whole area surrounding the pipeline.

As a Native American the land is sacred and important and for the most part, history is repeating itself all over again the white man taking our land again having to live and do our traditional doings on certain amount of land of which can be taken away from us

Either way, the pipeline will still effect the environment, and redirecting it won't solve any issues.

This project will make pollution far much worse, and it will damage our ecosystem because the government is less concerned towards that rather than money. Focus on re-useable energy and nuclear power. Reouting it will only make it less worse, but it will still damage the ecosystem.
You may say that the Dakota Access pipeline would be beneficial however, using an underwater pipeline to transport oil is not a good idea because it can cause pollution in the ocean causing our planet to die even quicker.

Although this might be the best solution re routing the pipes can cause damage to wherever else the pipes are going.

Natives have been there for a long time and the people are trying to go and take away there land for a pipeline i say reroute it and go around or find another way to do that pipeline
Why would we intentionally build this in the land of native americans if it could threaten them and there is an alternative.

We are already digging our earth into a hole, one that will effectively make or break our species as a whole based on how long our planet will last. People use greed to blind them to how harmful the mining and gathering of resources, are to make things and food when we soon won't have any left. The oil they will mine at the pipeline will mess up almost the entire ecosystem and kill most plantlife for animals to eat.
